Fees
Our goal is to provide our clients with the best and most cost efficient legal services possible. Importantly, we want our clients to know that we offer a variety of fee structures to fit each individual situation.
In some cases (for example, personal injury and some employment cases), we often provide our services on a contingent fee basis. That means that we do not charge for our time unless there is a recovery of money on the client’s behalf. Then, we are paid a percentage (usually one-third) of that recovery. In other situations, we simply charge an hourly rate for our time, and some matters may be handled on a flat-rate basis. Because those rates vary depending on the circumstances, please contact us for more details regarding our rates.
Fees for services and other billing procedures will be reviewed with you before you retain our firm to handle your matter. The initial consultation is always free. My office bills on an hourly basis, for the benefit of the client.
